A Snortin' Good Time

This video was taken on Feb 26th, but I couldn't resist putting it on as a preview for the next video. Jax just loves it when Mommy makes her funny noises.

We got home from a long day out running errands today and Jax was stuck in the car-seat for most of it. I think he was happy to be out. :)

Smiley Jax

We were able to capture some of Jax' playtime with Mommy on video and finally got it online. These are both from a couple of weeks ago, but enjoy!

We finally had a good snow for this Winter season, and on a weekend too! The boys got to test out their new snow gear, which rendered them somewhat immovable, but also quite warm. See the pics below:


Before playing, they shoveled the driveway; a task that they both actually volunteered for. Logan loved how deep it was and could fall face-first down into it.


They stopped for a quick pose, then it was off to their favorite new hunting spot (a nearby drainage area behind our house).


They debated for quite a while on whether it was safe to walk on or not. But Dawson couldn't resist and decided to take a chance (Dad tried it first and it was frozen very solid).


Dawson then relished in his recent accomplishment, while Logan made snow angels.


On our way back, the boys got into a quick snowball fight / wrestling match. Dawson got Logan down to the ground, but Logan threw some snow in Dawson's face, then quickly ran away.


While his big brothers were outside having fun, Jax was inside with Mommy showing her what a happy boy he was.

Definitely a Morning Person

Jaxin has been a very happy boy in the mornings recently, and will almost always give Mommy a big smile. We didn't quite catch him smiling all the way on video this morning, but got close.

Dawson and Logan were helping us out by taking care of Jaxin just before bed tonight. They are both such good helpers!

We got to come home today. Jax did great on the drive there and both he and Mommy are feeling great!

World...meet Jaxin Stone

Mimi and Papa Welch brought Jaxin's big brothers by the hospital; just in time for Jaxin's first bath (view the video below).

He's Here!

Jaxin Stone Welch arrives! Our new bundle of joy arrived today. He was born at 4:36pm and weighed 6 lbs - 7oz (our biggest one yet), and was 19 inches long. Enjoy the pics!

Glenda's BDay Dinner

We had dinner at Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse in Kansas City tonight for Glenda's Birthday. Logi did not enjoy his meal (too many vegetables w/Soy Sauce and too much rice). However, Dawson has found a new love. He will be requesting to go here all the time now.

Logan and His Chompers

Logan lost his first tooth this past Saturday and is now working on another one (he just isn't quite ready to pull it out). The moment occured in while in the drive-thru line at A&W/Long John Silvers. He was ecstatic! We had to capture that moment, albeit with a camera phone, but still got it.

Incidentally, that evening we also discovered that if you request a tub of ketchup from A&W/LJS they actually include an entire bottle of Heinz in your carry-out sack. Amazing! We got a pretty good laugh from that one.

35th Anniversary Celebration

For our first (and perhaps only) blog, I thought it appropriate to post a video that we made for Mom and Dad to help celebrate 35 years together. After attending the Ogden family reunion, we spent most of the day on Saturday preparing for a nice meal later in the evening which would be celebrated together with family, and proceeded by the following video.

A good time was had by all {a wink to those who enjoy reading the 'Local News' section of the "Licking News"}.
